Your Whey

As an IFBB professional fitness athlete and personal trainer, I have learned over the years that supplementation is critical in producing a healthy and effective athlete. Some supplementation is more important than others and getting enough protein/ nitrogen in the diet can be difficult but very necessary for all athletes. Using a whey powder can be a quick and easy way to resolve that need. But which ones? That is the big question.

YOUR WHEY was introduced to me at a small local bodybuilding event in the Kansas City area. Like I would with any supplement- I had my reservations… until I looked at the ingredient content. Two ingredients. Two!!!! At that point I was sure there had to be a catch. After I went home I did my typical internet research only to find out that the parent company (Marron Foods) of Your Whey is one of the first leading producers of instant whey protein. Marron Foods is a cutting edge producer of custom formulated food products. The research and development of the product is second to none and industry leading. We are now very fortunate to have Your Whey released to the public as a brand from Marron Foods.

As a competitive fitness athlete where the physique is also judged, I have had the honor to work with some of the top trainers and nutritionists in the country; and at contest time, whey protein would always be removed from the final weeks of preparation. Why?

Simply put, your food source needs to be in its purest form. Basically you need to know what you are taking in. Fillers, hidden sugars and incomplete amino profiles are often disastrous to a competitive athlete. When you look at the ingredients on a number of powders on the market, you can’t pronounce half the ingredients- let alone recognize the content. What else are you getting? Are you getting what they say you are? Because of the influx of popularity on the market and limited quality control, powders are typically cut at the final stages of contest preparation…..until now!

As an athlete and trainer, Your Whey is a part of my daily diet, and that of my clients as well as fellow competitors. When it comes to physique development, I only want the best for myself and my clients. This is why I choose to use Your Whey as the primary source for my protein supplementation needs.
